Agriculture Building, Blackwell Fairgrounds

Plans are underway for Blackwell Tourism’s second annual Cinco de Mayo celebration.  It’s going to be bigger and even better than last year.  The event will be held at the Agriculture building on the Blackwell Fairgrounds from 6-10pm on Saturday, May 4.

“VJ Teo Garcia is the DJ for the event.  He promises lights, sound, music and a spectacular surprise for the kids.  Several local businesses have sponsored activities for the kids. Drawings for really great prizes will be held throughout the evening.

A corn hole tournament is a new addition this year. Tosh’s Twisted Rhino Cornhole is hosting an on-site tournament and preregistration is preferred. Register by downloading the app Scoreholio, check in will be at 5pm.

RN Quilt’n LLC will be at the event printing the official t-shirts and this year they are taking pre-orders.  They are located at 120 N Main Street in Blackwell.

Food trucks and vendors will be on site.  Join us for a fun filled evening for the family!
