Injury Accident Early Wednesday South of Fairfax

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 76 year old Wagoner man was insured in a single vehicle accident early this morning at the intersection of Oklahoma 20 and Oklahoma 18, south of Fairfax in Osage County.

The report states that at approximately 4:37 AM on Wednesday, Calvin R. Stroud was traveling west on OK 20 in a 2016 GMC Sierra when, for an unknown reason, he drove through a T intersection and struck a tree.

He was transported by Miller EMS to Fairfax Regional Medical Center, was then airlifted to St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa and admitted in good condition.  Officers report that the cause of the accident was failure to stop at a stop sign.
