The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the four individuals who were found with gunshot wounds at the 7 Clans Gasino north of Newkirk early in the morning on May 3.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office Tuesday afternoon, the individuals at the Gasino that morning were Cody McLaughlin, 33, of Winfield; Bailey Rivers, 24, of Ark City; Elia Rodriguez, 36 of Ark City; and Juan Miguel Martinez, 20 of Ark City.
All four were in rural Cowley County when an unknown subject began firing at them, the sheriff’s office said.
They fled the area and ended up at the 7 Clans Gasino to seek help.
All subjects have since been released from hospital care.
Rivers and Juan Martinez are being held in the Cowley County Jail on unrelated charges for probation violation warrants.
