Ponca City is beginning a new tradition of presenting “The Iron Man” Award. Occasionally, we have several athletes who have lettered in fall, winter, and spring sports for the entire four years of their high school athletic career. Talented individuals who accomplish this feat demonstrate an extremely strong work-ethic, are very driven and dedicated, and are passionate about sports and enjoy the challenge of competing at a high level in multiple disciplines.
Receiving the 2023 Iron Man Award is Gabe Roland. Gabe has lettered and had great success in Wildcat football, wrestling, and soccer all four years of his high school athletic career. This award was sponsored by the booster clubs of all three sports.
The award was presented to Gabe at the Wildcat soccer banquet.
