This report from the Perry Police Department. On February 26th, Perry Police Investigators received direct information of a possible threat at the Perry High School. Investigators immediately began filtering through information as they made contact with the school. Once they were confident that there was no active threat, they removed a juvenile from the school to further their investigation process.
Police with the assistance of students, uncovered information that would later prove to be beneficial in arresting a 14 year old juvenile male.
The Perry School Superintendent has partnered with the Perry Police to immediately place a Police Officer inside the schools. This implementation will greatly open up communication portals between the police, school administrators, faculty and it’s students.
