1,737 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,737 COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, Dec. 1. Oklahoma’s seen 199,482 COVID-19 cases overall as 30,318 cases are active.

15 additional virus-related deaths were reported to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,758. None of the deaths were in northern Oklahoma.

Kay County saw an increase with eight new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 1,899 COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths and 1,526 recoveries.

For new cases in local counties, there are 48 for Logan, 45 for Garfield, 13 for Payne, 10 for Washington, nine for Osage, three each for Noble and Pawnee and two for Grant.

Payne County – 4,285 cases/19 deaths/3,819 recoveries

Garfield County – 4,030 cases/37 deaths/3,315 recoveries

Washington County – 2,091 cases/47 deaths/1,777 recoveries

Osage County – 2,014 cases/18 deaths/1,803 recoveries

Kay County – 1,899 cases/25 deaths/1,526 recoveries

Logan County – 1,577 cases/3 deaths/1,288 recoveries

Pawnee County – 604 cases/8 deaths/525 recoveries

Noble County – 554 cases/4 deaths/367 recoveries

Grant County – 214 cases/5 deaths/183 recoveries

 

OSDH is also reporting 3,679 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 167,406. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

As of Tuesday, there have been `,923,468 negative test results, 12,293 hospitalizations and 1,718 people currently hospitalized.
