The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,041 new positive COVID-19 cases for Thursday, Oct. 29. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 120,193 COVID-19 cases as 14,968 cases are active.
20 additional virus-related deaths were reported for Oklahoma on Thursday, putting the statewide death toll to 1,306.
Kay County saw an increase with two new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 899 cases, 16 deaths and 779 recoveries.
For new cases in local counties, there are 20 for Garfield, eight for Logan, five for Payne, four for Grant, two for Osage and one for Washington.

Grant County – 109 cases/1 death/74 recoveries
OSDH is also reporting 1,127 recoveries for Thursday as the state has seen an overall total of 103,919 recoveries. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Officials report that as of Wednesday, there have been 1,456,714 total negative specimen, 8,609 total hospitalizations and 885 patients are currently hospitalized.
