Did you know that many area children won’t experience the magic of Christmas this year? It’s true. But we can change that. You can make a difference! Sunny 104.7, WBBZ and Papa Murphy’s are teaming with local non-profits to identify needy children and asking you to consider playing Santa by giving a gift or two this Friday, December 4th. Just bring your new and unwrapped gift to Papa Murphy’s, 901 East Prospect in Ponca City, Friday starting at 6am during our Christmas Crusade Kick-off Event. Look for the Alliance Health Santa House out front. We’ll be there all day collecting toys for young boys and girls.
If you’d like to donate toys earlier, just drop them off anytime at Papa Murphy’s or at the Sunny 104.7/WBBZ Studios at 1601 East Oklahoma during business hours.
Collect toys and gifts through your church, organization or business, and we’ll invite you to join us live, on-the-air, to make your presentation. In addition, gifts can be dropped off anytime (during business hours) through December 12th at Papa Murphy’s and at any Alliance Health Santa House stop. To contribute funds to purchase gifts, make checks payable to “Christmas Crusade for Kids” and drop off at any of our special events.
A local non-profit agency will supervise determining eligibility for the program and that recipients are not receiving gifts or assistance from any other agency. Christmas Crusade does not accept names of children or requests for assistance on the hotline.
