The Cowley County Fair Association made the announcement on their Facebook page Monday evening that after careful review with the Cowley County Health Department and the City of Winfield, a decision was made the cancel the 2020 Cowley County Fair due to the threat of COVID-19.
The Cowley County Fair Association said that while they know that everyone is ready to get out of the house and start attending events, they understand the continued risk for COVID-19 that can occur with large gatherings. For the safety of the Winfield community and Cowley County, the Cowley County Fair will not be held this year.
However, plans will begin for the 2021 Cowley County Fair!
