The accident occurred near Braman at 5:54 a.m. on Interstate 35 when Raul Saldana Perez fell asleep behind the wheel and departed the roadway rolling his truck. Perez was taken to the Blackwell hospital and taken by AirEvac to the Wesley Medical Center with head injuries.
