The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting on Friday that there are 68 new positive cases of Covid-19 as there are currently 998 active cases in the state. Since testing started, there have been a total of 6,338 COVID-19 cases.
Osage County is the only local county with one new COVID-19 case to put their total at 95. For active cases, Osage County has four, Kay County with two, and Garfield, Logan and Pawnee each have one active case. No active cases for Grant, Noble and Payne counties.
Three more virus-related deaths were documented as Oklahoma’s death toll is now at 329. Two deaths happened on Thursday, and the other one happened on May 23.

104 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19 to put the recovery total at 5,340.
OSDH also reports that 181,060 test results returned negative. There have been 982 total hospitalizations, and 160 patients are currently hospitalized.
