The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 446 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday.
According to the situation report, Oklahoma’s seen 641,497 COVID-19 cases since early 2020. A total of 6,365 cases are active, which is nearly 1,000 less than Friday, October 22. The new cases 7 day average is 805. The CDC provisional death count is 11,218.
According to the latest data from Wednesday, October 20, Kay County has seen an overall total of 7,166 COVID-19 cases, 164 deaths and 6,855 recoveries. Kay County has 147 active COVID-19 cases.
If you’re needing to get tested for COVID-19, the Kay County Health Department has COVID-19 testing available by appointment only at the Ponca City clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Make an appointment by calling 580-762-1641. COVID-19 testing is NOT available at the Blackwell clinic.

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 4,344,486 doses have been administered. This includes 2,298,461 Oklahomans receiving at least one dose and 1,942,273 Oklahomans that are fully vaccinated.
