The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 743 new positive COVID-19 cases for Wednesday, Oct. 28. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 119,152 COVID-19 cases as 15,074 cases are active.
Thirteen additional virus-related deaths were documented Wednesday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,286. None of which were in northern Oklahoma.
Kay County saw 14 new COVID-19 cases to put the total to 897 cases, 16 deaths and 774 recoveries.
For new cases in local counties, there are 13 for Washington, 12 for Garfield, four each for Grant, Noble and Osage, three for Pawnee and one each for Logan and Payne.

Grant County – 105 cases/1 death/74 recoveries
OSDH is also reporting 1,136 recoveries to put the statewide recovery total to 102,792. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Officials report that as of Wednesday, there have been 1,456,714 total negative specimen, 8,609 total hospitalizations and 885 patients are currently hospitalized.
