751 new COVID-19 cases for Kay County

The Kay County Health Department reported on Thursday that Kay County’s seen 751 new COVID-19 cases from January 13-19. Kay County’s seen an overall total of 9,887 COVID-19 cases since March 2020.

52% of the age 5+ and 84.4% of the age 65+ populations in Kay County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. As of January 19, 43.7% of the age 5+ population in the county is fully-vaccinated.

As for the entire District 3 region, which includes Creek, Lincoln, Kay, Noble, Osage, Payne and Pawnee counties, there were 4,394 new COVID-19 cases reported between January 11-17. District 3 has seen a total of 59,581 COVID-19 cases since March 2020.
