All of the offenses are felonies.

Baker was wanted on a Sumner County District Court warrant for probation violation.

Baker was booked into the Cowley County Jail.   Bond was set at $22,500.

Officers were dispatched to Casey’s General Store at 4:30 in the morning for a report of a man who had fallen asleep at a table causing an open knife to fall from his pocket to the floor.

He was taken into custody and a search of his person ensued.

During the search police located a syringe, baggies, a scale with drug residue and a small tin containing a sizable amount of meth in Baker’s pockets, along with cash. The items were seized as evidence.
