Armed robber gets 35 years.

A Kay County jury late yesterday afternoon found Shawn Ashton Mantz guilty of several charges including robbing the Triple T on south 14^th in Ponca City.

Mantz, who chose not to testify in his case, was given a recommended sentence of 35 years in prison with 10 years suspended.

District Attorney Brian Hermanson said Mantz will serve close to 21 years before he can be considered for parole.
