The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported an injury accident Sunday, July 9 at 3:15 p.m. on East Highway 11, two miles east of Kaw City.
53 year old Lisa Webber, of Wichita, Kansas, was driving an Arctic Cat All Terrain Vehicle uphill on a curve when the vehicle struck an area of large rocks and rolled three times. Webber was thrown from the ATV 20 feet.
Weber was transported by MediFlight to St. Frances in Wichita, Kan. and admitted in stable condition with leg injuries.
The OHP lists the cause of the accident as driving too fast for a curve.
