Hundreds of protestors took part in the Black Lives Matter protest yesterday in Ponca City.
The protest started at 5th and Overbrook and marched down to city hall on Grand Ave. between 5th and 6th streets. Ambulance was called on scene for two people with heat-related issues. The protest remained peaceful.
According to Ponca Cityt Police Capt. Randy Tyner, the event went as planned.
