4TH Activities in Blackwell
11AM Downtown Parade. 2017 Parade Marshall is Sergeant Lennie DeBoard. Parade lineup will be at Main and Dewey aided by the Amateur Radio Club. Children will line up for judging with their Decorated bicycles or Wagons on the sidewalk next to the building at N. Main & Dewey. The group will join the parade as one of the front entries. All others will line-up to enter the Parade on Main and Dewey.
From 1PM to 3PM A Free public swim at the Memorial Park Pool. The swim is sponsored by the City of Blackwell.
And at Dusk, a Free Spectacular fireworks Display at Blackwell Fairgrounds, sponsored by The City of Blackwell and Blackwell Tourism Development Board.
The City of Blackwell reminds the public that NO FIREWORKS are permitted on the Fairgrounds other than those in the approved display.
