The Blackwell Public Schools is inducting Dr. Danny Cassidy into their Hall of FameFriday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kay Room in Blackwell. Cassidy, who graduated from Blackwell in 1964, who graduated from OU Medical in 1973, went on to expand his love of technology and engineering by developing interactive videodisks programs and computer systems for medical training. His love for emergency room medicine led him to develop training programs. Cassidy established the first emergency physician training program in Oklahoma and set up a training network for the Oklahoma chapter of the American Heart Association to continue the program all over the state.
