Boesch named new CEO of Kay Electric Cooperative

The Board of Directors for the Kay Electric Cooperative (KEC) in Blackwell, Oklahoma is pleased to announce Jason Boesch as the new CEO.

Jason has replaced Tim Rodriguez who started his cooperative career in 1983 and served as CEO of Kay Electric for the past six years.

In 1997, Boesch began his cooperative career at the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC) as the manager for Energize Credit Union and later became the CFO and
worker compensation fund manager.

Jason graduated from Oklahoma State University with an MBA, a degree in accounting and later attended Oklahoma City University where he earned his law degree. Jason is also currently
serving part time as an Oklahoma Army National Guard Lieutenant Colonel in the position of Deputy State JAG.

Boesch has deep roots in Kay County and with Kay Electric as he grew up on a wheat and cattle farm a few miles northeast of Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School. His family
has been Kay Electric members since KEC’s inception in 1937.

KEC welcomes Jason to the cooperative family and are excited to have him on board. Kay Electric is an electrical distribution cooperative that delivers services to Garfield, Grant, Kay, Noble and Osage counties.
