34 year old Dean Allen Ustler has been arrested in connection to a bomb threat yesterday morning against the Kay County Courthouse.

According to reports, Ustler confessed to the crime later in the day.

He had called the courthouse just before 9AM, claiming there were multiple bombs in the building.

Authorities then evacuated the building and investigated the call and called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Bomb Squad.  The Bomb Squad cleared the building.

Utsler is now being held on complaints of terroristic threats at the county jail.

Officials said court dates are to be rescheduled.  District Attorney Brian Hermanson said defendants scheduled for court yesterday will be notified of rescheduling dates by their attorney or court.  All fines due yesterday should be paid today.

The courthouse is set to reopen today.
