The CDC recommends the following individuals receive a booster shot:

• People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot.
• People aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot.
• People aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot based on their individual benefits and risks.
• People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional settings may receive a booster shot based on their individual benefits and risks.

Oklahoma has plenty of vaccine available for all those that qualify and are seeking a booster, third dose, or first/second dose. You can search for a provider of your choice in your area through the following:

• www.vaccines.gov – Statewide search for healthcare providers with COVID vaccine and flu shots currently on hand.

• Contact your local pharmacy, local healthcare provider, doctor’s office, clinic, urgent care, etc.
• Call 211 if you are unable to use an online system. Representatives will assist you by finding and booking a vaccine appointment over the phone.
• You may also call the county health department in your area to confirm days and times vaccines are being offered at the location nearest you.

*The Emergency Use Authorization currently only applies to the Pfizer vaccine. The CDC and FDA will continue to evaluate data to make a recommendation on booster doses of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
