The deadline to fill out the 2020 U.S. Census has been shortened to Sept. 30, and Kay County continues to stay in the top ten counties for Oklahoma in terms of responses with a 61.1% response rate.
As for cities within Kay County, Ponca City has a 63.6% response rate, Newkirk at 59.3%, Tonkawa at 58.6%, Blackwell at 57.7%, Kaw City at 37.8% and Braman at 30.1%,
