Collision in Osage County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that on June 29, several Ponca City residents were injured in a collision on U.S. 60 east of Ponca City in Osage County.

52 year old John M. Donaldson, of Ponca City, was driving a 2008 Toyota Tundra southbound on City View Road and failed to yield at a stop sign to a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 34 year old William Willaford, also of Ponca City.

Donaldson refused treatment at the scene.

Willaford was transported by private vehicle to Alliance Health Hospital in Ponca City, where he was treated and released with external trunk, arm, and leg injuries.  Williford was later  admitted to the hospital.

Four juvenile girls who were passengers in the Willaford vehicle were transported by private vehicle to Alliance Health in Ponca City. They were 13, 11, 10 and 2 years old. Each of the girls had trunk injuries and  the 13-year-old also  had leg injuries.

The Highway Patrol said Donaldson’s vehicle rolled 1/4 time from the collision.
