Cooler Weather Coming – Might Need Umbrellas for HS Football

Daytime highs tomorrow will still climb to around 90 across North Central Oklahoma, but a cool change is headed our way this weekend with highs only in the low 80s on Saturday and Sunday.

 

In Dan Holiday’s extended forecast, Monday we’ll see temperatures climb back up to 90 again before dropping for most of next week.  Tuesday’s high will be near 80 with temperatures in the upper 70s on Wednesday and Thursday and overnight lows in the low 60s.

  • Thursday Night  A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. Southeast wind around 10 mph.
  • Friday  A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. South southwest wind 8 to 11 mph.
  • Friday Night  Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 63. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
  • Saturday  Sunny, with a high near 81.
  • Saturday Night  Clear, with a low around 56.
  • Sunday  Sunny, with a high near 83.
  • Sunday Night  Mostly clear, with a low around 66.
  • Monday  Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.
