Details for local schools providing Grab-n-Go meals

PONCA CITY

Beginning Monday, March 23, the PCPS Child Nutrition Program will be providing pre-packaged
grab and go meals at no cost for children ages 1-18. The meals will be available from 11:00 AM –
12:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Locations include Po-Hi (5th St. Parking lot), West Middle
School, Garfield & Union. Please refer to the Child Nutrition Press Release on the district website

BLACKWELL

Blackwell Public Schools is providing  “grab and go” sack lunches for all children eighteen and under at no cost, including children not presently enrolled in Blackwell Public Schools.

There will be five sites distributing these sack lunches:

The bus stop at Parkside Elementary School

The bus stop Washington Elementary School

The circle drive at the High School,

The Middle School Parking lot

The park on the south side of the Elks Asbury Apartments.

Lunches may be picked up at all five of these locations, between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The meals will be packaged in a to-go container and given at the designated spot at each location outside of the building.

 

NEWKIRK

Newkirk Public Schools will provide an opportunity for any child age 1-18 to get a grab and go breakfast and/or lunch during the COVID-19 school closure. They can either be picked up on the east side of the elementary building, or can be delivered by bus drivers for those riding buses, including those within the Braman area.

 

TONKAWA

Keystone Foods and Tonkawa Schools will be providing breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Meals will be served in a drive-thru method. Vehicles should form a line at the high school cafeteria east doors. Personnel will take orders for meals and deliver them to vehicles. The grab and go bag will contain lunch for the day and breakfast for the following morning. Students are not to enter the building. Meals are free to children 18 years or younger.

 

FRONTIER (Red Rock)

Grab and go meals will be available at the following locations from 11:45 AM- 12:30 PM
Each individual 18 years and under will be provided with a breakfast sack and a lunch sack.
Students must pick up the meal or be with their Parents when the meal is picked up.
STAY 6 FEET AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE WHEN PICKING UP THE MEAL
PICK UP THE MEALS AND LEAVE- DO NOT HANG AROUND THE DROP OFF SITE

DEER CREEK-LAMONT

DCLA students may pick up a grab and go breakfast and lunch at the school cafeteria. The first day pick up time will be 8:00-8:30 am to pick up breakfast and lunch together. Thereafter, pick up times will be at 12:00-12:30. Lunch and breakfast for the next day will be picked up together each day. Students will pick up meals in town they reside in. Thank you!

 

SHIDLER

Shidler elementary is providing a drive-thru lunch daily 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
