Buell of Ponca City, departed US 160 approximately 4.5 miles east of Ponca City and “impacted the dirt road side”. Buell was  Transported by Ponca City Ambulance to Alliance Health Ponca City where he was admitted in stable condition for trunk internal injuries.

Buell’s passenger, 34 year old Kelli L. Briley of Ponca City, jumped off the vehicle after he lost control and was not injured.

The OHP report says that inattention to driving was the cause of the accident and that helmets were not in use.

The accident was investigated by troopers from OHP Troop K and were assisted by Kay County Sherriff’s Office, and Ponca City EMS.
