One of the largest earthquakes ever recorded in Oklahoma occurred this morning. A 4.7 quake woke up residents in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas and was felt as far away as Tulsa. The earthquake was centered near Cherokee. That quake was followed by a 3.9 quake in Grant county. A 3.7 quake near Cresent, Oklahoma and another 3.1 aftershock in Alfalfa County. No damage or injuries have been reported.
