A tractor trailer driven by Joshua Corlis of Judsonia Arkansas, escaped with his life when he apparently fell asleep on I40 near Erick. His vehicle left the road and ran into a guardrail before striking a bridge rail. The tractor trailer separated as it cleared the bridge with the tractor coming to rest and becoming engulfed in flames. A passenger inside the sleeper, whose name has not been released, was unable to exit the sleeper berth and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to St. Anthony Hospital and admitted in stable condition.
