Fatality collision occurred yesterday at approximately 3PM on US60 7.5 miles west of Bartlesville, OK in Osage County.
A Dodge Caravan driven by 34 year old Holly Redmond of Ponca City, left the road to the right and in trying to get back into the driving lane, overcorrected causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, go into a broad slide and then roll an undetermined number of times. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels. Redmond was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene from a head injury. The passenger, 36 years old Kyle Lindsey also of Ponca City, was Airlifted by Air Med to St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK in critical condition where he was admitted for head injuries.
The accident is still under investigation. The passenger was wearing a seatbelt, but the driver was not.
