A fatality collision occurred yesterday afternoon near Rush Springs in Grady County. In an accident still under investigation by the Oklahoma High Way Patrol, a Chevrolet pickup driven by Ernest Tullos of Comanche was struck by a Chrysler, driven by Duncan resident, Billy Hepburn. Tullos was traveling south when the vehicle driven by Hepburn, traveling west, attempted to turn south and struck Tullos vehicle. Tullos’ vehicle left the road and rolled one complete time before coming to its final rest. Tullos was pinned for approximately 20 minutes before being freed. He was pronounce dead at the scene. His passenger, Carla Tullos, was admitted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma city in good condition with head injuries. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured.
