A father and son were arrested and hospitalized last night after being pursued by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and losing control of their vehicle. The driver of the car identified as 18 year old Hunter Burnett of Barnsdall was airlifted to the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. 45 year old Loren Burnett, the father of the driver, was airlifted by AirEvac to St. Francis. Both are listed in stable condition.
The pursuit began last night on State Highway 11 in Osage County and ended when Burnett lost control of the vehicle, exiting the roadway and driving through a fence and into a field.
