Fire Danger Remains High

Northern Oklahoma continues under a Red Flag Fire Alert through Wednesday. Meanwhile, McCord volunteer firefighters were on the scene of a large grass fire which swept across Osage County this Saturday just South of U. S. Highway 60 near Burbank.  Rising temperatures, high humidity and dry grass are all contributing to the high fire dangers in Oklahoma.
