Flu Season Deaths Now Top 280 in Oklahoma

Authorities report that the flu has claimed over 280 lives so far this season, the most fatalities since the state started tracking the flu in 2009.  According to the Oklahoma Department of Health, 283 people have died from the illness since the flu season began in September.

The previous record number of flu-related deaths was 130 just last year.
