Freshmen orientation begins tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. at Ponca City High School. It will be held at the Howell Auditorium.
At 4:30, a parent-only meeting will be led by Principal Thad Dillbeck, while students are involved in activities. Several speakers will be on hand to discuss everything from online payments to crisis information and more. Parents may join their students after that portion of the meeting.
The meeting will resume at 5:30 with a welcome of students, and introduction of administrators, who will explain their roles in detail. Speaking topics will include school credits, schedules, and more including school tours. The meeting will wrap up with a freshmen video shot at the East Middle School.
Student tours are available today through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
