Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt announced last week that he and his cabinet will make a stop in Ponca City tomorrow, August 17, as the second stop on his 2021 Top Ten Traveling Cabinet Tour to allow Oklahomans to hear from state leaders and discuss issues important to the community.
The meeting will take place at City Central, 400 E. Central Ave. Suite 200, Ponca City, OK. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. with the public meeting going from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
“I am excited to bring my team to Ponca City because it is so important that Oklahomans in all areas of the state have the chance to interact with their leaders,” said Gov. Stitt in an article at governor.ok.gov. “It is so beneficial for us to visit different communities and hear about issues that are important to the people we serve and for us to give an update on the things we are doing to make Oklahoma a Top Ten state.”
Members of the Governor’s Cabinet include:
Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell, Secretary of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage; Brian Bingman, Secretary of State and Native American Affairs; Blayne Arthur, Secretary of Agriculture; Scott Mueller, Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development; Steven Harpe, Chief Operating Officer, Acting Secretary of Digital Transformation and Administration; Jennifer Grigsby, Secretary of Economic Administration; Ryan Walters, Secretary of Education; Kenneth Wagner, Secretary of Energy and Environment; Kevin Corbett, Secretary of Health and Mental Health; Tricia Everest, Secretary of Public Safety; Justin Brown, Secretary of Human Services; Susan Winchester, Secretary of Licensing and Regulation; Tim Gatz, Secretary of Transportation; Elizabeth Pollard, Secretary of Science and Innovation; and General Ben T.
