Four people were injured early this week in an accident that occurred north of Winfield on U.S. 77 highway.
Monday afternoon, a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 20-year-old Brice Sellers, was northbound when a southbound vehicle turned into his path. According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept. 31-year-old Hana Albeladi, of Wichita, was the driver of the second vehicle, which was southbound and attempting to make a turn.
Accordinig to reports, the scene indicated the crash was headon.
Both drivers were taken by EMS to William Newton Hospital in Winfield.
A front seat passenger in Sellers’s vehicle, 20-year-old Ashley DeHoff, of Anthony, was transported by ambulance to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. DeHoff was in critical condition at last report. A rear seat passenger in Sellers’s vehicle, 22-year-old Patrick Mbahi, of Argonia, was transported to the hospital in Winfield in a private vehicle.
Current conditions for all those injured, were not immediately available.
