Mitchell Jay Griffith appeared in Kay County District Court this week for a motion hearing. Griffith is charged with murder in the first degree with deliberate intent in the shooting of 35 year old Vinson Alan Kendrick in September of 2014. Griffith is also charged with carrying a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, public intoxication and a felony count of witness intimidation.
