Injury Accident Near Kaw City Saturday Caused By Intoxication

KAW CITY – An injury accident was reported last Saturday just before 4 a.m. on State Highway 11 1.6 miles west of Enterprise Road between Ponca City and Kaw City. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Mack Perry of Ponca City was driving a 2016 dodge ram truck heading east on highway 11 when he departed the roadway to the left, impacted a dirt embankment and hit a tree. The vehicle rolled three times before coming to a stop. Perry was transported to Alliance Health of Ponca City where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries. The OHP listed the cause of the collision as intoxication. Seat belts were in use.
