TMZ is reporting that Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson who was sentenced to over 15 years in prison on child porn charges, was beaten by another inmate at the federal Englewood Prison Colorado.
The report says that Steven Nigg, the alleged attacker, has had “major issues with child molesters” and physically assaulted Fogle, resulting in a “bloody nose, scratches and a swollen face.
Fogle became a Subway spokesman after losing over 200 pounds while still a college student, in part due to a regular diet of Subway sandwiches. Subway ended its relationship with Fogle after authorities raided his home in July.
Fogle’s attorneys have appealed his sentence which was imposed after he plead guilty to charges of child pornography and engaging in sex with minors.
