Kansas Earthquake Felt In Oklahoma Sunday

If you felt any shaking during the afternoon on Sunday, that was likely due to an earthquake.

The U.S. Geological Survey Team recorded a 4.5 magnitude earthquake that happened at 7:08 p.m. Sunday evening 2 miles southwest of South Hutchinson, Ks. The earthquake was felt as far south as northern Oklahoma. As of Monday morning, no damage has been reported.

A second earthquake occurred within the area over the weekend. A 1.8 magnitude earthquake happened at 11:24 a.m. Sunday 7 miles northwest of Pawnee, Ok.
