Kay County Health Department offering walk-ins for students wanting COVID-19 vaccine

The Kay County Health Department has walk-in appointments available for students ages 12 and older that want a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

A parent must be present at the time of the vaccination. Walk-in hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

The Kay County Health Department is located at 433 Fairview Avenue in Ponca City. You can also call KCHD at 580-762-1641.

CDC recommends everyone 12 years and older should get a COVID-19 vaccination to help protect against COVID-19. Early information shows that the vaccines may help keep people from spreading COVID-19 to others. They can also help keep children from getting seriously sick even if they do get COVID-19.
