Kay County Sheriff’s Office receiving reports of scam call

SHARE NOW
The Kay County Sheriff’s Office has received more reports of subjects calling and identifying as deputies, stating that you have warrants for arrest and requesting you to verify your personal information and send them money on a prepaid debit card.
Kay County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind the public that law enforcement will NEVER call you and request money for an active warrant for your arrest.
If you receive a call from someone requesting money for an outstanding warrant, hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency.
