The Kay County Sheriff’s Office has received more reports of a subject claiming to be a deputy and or investigator, stating you have warrants and you will be arrested unless you produce a payment.
Please remember that law enforcement will NEVER call you and request money over the phone for an active warrant. If you receive a call from someone requesting money for an outstanding warrant, hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency.
The number may appear on your caller I.D. as the Kay County Sheriff’s Office number.
