The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting on Saturday that there are 80 new positive cases of Covid-19 as there are currently 983 active cases in the state. Since testing started, there have been a total of 6,418 COVID-19 cases.
Kay, Garfield and Pawnee counties all have one new COVID-19 case to report. No changes for Grant, Logan, Noble and Payne counties. As for active cases, Kay, Garfield, Pawnee and Osage counties all have two and Logan County with one.
Five more virus-related deaths were documented as Oklahoma’s death toll is now at 334. All five deaths occurred between May 23 and May 28.
- An Oklahoma County female in the 65 or older age group.
- Two males and one female in Tulsa County, each in the 65 or older group.
- A McCurtain County female in the 65 or older age group.
As of Saturday, 95 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19 to put the recovery total at 5,435.
OSDH also reports that 186,700 test results returned negative. There have been 985 total hospitalizations, and 154 patients are currently hospitalized.
