Regeneia Van Arsdales, the longest serving Police Officer in the history of the Ponca City Police Department and the 2011 Police Officer of the Year had a retirement reception last Friday afternoon at the Public Safety Center.
Van Arsdale began her employment with the Ponca City Police Department in May of 1982 as a dispatcher. She was hired as a Police Officer in 1983 and promoted to Sergeant in 1994 and in 2012 she became Lieutenant Van Arsdale. She is the first officer to complete 35 years with the Ponca City PD and has served under five police chiefs.
