Last night, Kay County Sheriff-elect Steve Kelley reported that the suspect authorities believe fired shots at a Tonkawa police officer has been captured in Navajo, New Mexico. He has been identified as 29 year old Micah Morris. Law enforcement tracked Morris to El Reno, Oklahoma then to Amarillo, Texas and to Albuquerque before capturing him in Navajo.
Morris is the man police believe shot at a Tonkawa police officer early Wednesday morning on I-35 just south of the Tonkawa exit after a traffic stop.
