MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma — The Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavs scored five runs in the first inning and cruised to an 8-0 win over Eastern Thursday in the NJCAA Region 2 Championships in Muskogee.
The Mavs (28-26) face top seed Seminole Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Lynsey Ailey was dominant in the circle allowing just one hit over five innings striking out 11.
Meagan Bellar led the Mavs’ offense with three hits and two runs batted in while Maggie Landes had two hits and two runs scored.
Megan Hart added two runs batted in for NOC.
Ailey threw just 67 pitches in the complete game, the Mavs played an errorless game in the field.
