Ponca City Mayor Homer Nicholson is scheduled to take part in a Zoom call this week concerning the need for passenger rail linking Wichita, Oklahoma City and Fort Worth. The route would pass through Ponca City. According to Nicholson, mayors in Guthrie, Edmond, Ark City and Wichita are all on board.
According to KAKE-TV in Wichita, representatives from Oklahoma and Kansas held a round-table session on Tuesday regarding the planned rail linking.
